Meet The Staff
At Trendsetter Travel & Cruise Centre, we’re a very international bunch. Combine our ethnic diversity with the huge number of places we’ve travelled to and there are few places we can’t sell from personal experience.

Adrienne Witteman
Truly a mixture, Adrienne is a Kiwi with Dutch and Scottish parents, with Sydney being home since 1984.
At 17, her parents wouldn’t let her buy a motorbike but would let her fly alone to Sydney and take the bus 1700kms to Mackay to visit friends! She still has a souvenir icecream wrapper in that first travel diary (Australia was very exotic way back then) and while the mode of travel has definitely changed, her desire to get out and see the world hasn’t. Having lived in Japan, this remains Adrienne’s favourite destination but everywhere else she’s been – including Mexico, South America, Bhutan, mainland USA, Hawaii, Canada, Alaska, Fiji, Tahiti, Africa, continental Europe, Ireland, China and Asia generally – always hold a lot of promise. Especially if travelling with golf clubs!

Barbara Gross
Born in Sydney of German parents, Barbara is very much the Sydney girl who likes to travel. Her first trip, at 3 years, was on a Super Constellation to Europe via Cloncurry, Biak, Manila, Bangkok, Karachi, Cairo, Rome and finally Amsterdam! The trip took 1 week, and onboard accoutrements included damask linens, fine china and crystal together with a Neptune Certificate to prove flying over the Equator. Clearly, this long journey set Barbara up to become the cruise afficianado that she is today, much preferring the slow comfortable route to anywhere. Barbara has travelled far and wide in her many years in travel but retains particularly special memories of Iguazu, Victoria and Niagara Falls.

Andrea Davis
Andrea, of German and English parents, was born in England and migrated to Australia at a young age. This first trip was the inspiration for many to come and she has thus far enjoyed journeys to the USA, UK, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China, Fiji, Noumea, Mauritius and her favourite, continental Europe. Andrea took her first cruise in 2008 and now hooked, is looking forward to doing many more. Given a travel background that includes time at both Qantas and United Airways, Andrea is well versed in airline and agency matters. Spending time with family and close friends, preferably in a nice restaurant, are special passions and this is reflected in Andrea being regarded as our most patient consultant!

Greg Bell
What doesn’t Greg know? With over 30 years in the travel and airline industries, he’s travelled extensively to everywhere everyone else has been – but with a couple more “exotics,” namely Morocco and Borneo. If you want Asia and Indonesia, Greg is especially adept and has been a topseller to Bali for several years. Cruising is another interest and like us all, Greg is keen to do more. Out of the office, Greg is a keen golfer and takes every opportunity to get a round in.

Judy Legras
Judy started in the travel industry in 1968 and this gave her the travel bug. So in 1971, she set off round the world, first cruising to Southampton via the USA and then travelling throughout the UK and Europe, to eventually finish off the trip with a stint working in Switzerland. While widely travelled, Judy’s most memorable and recent journeys have been tours to Morocco (2009) and South Africa (August 2011).
She enjoys all aspects of travel and is always seeking out new destinations but particularly likes coach touring, solace for a busy travel agent as you can sit back and let someone else do the driving - and thereby enjoy the sights and experiences of different countries in a most relaxing fashion! In 2005, Judy became a Master Cruise Consultant, having caught the cruising bug on her first trip, and has since cruised in Asia and the South Pacific.

Jayne Kelderman
Jayne started work at Northbridge Travel in February 2002, though time spent working much earlier in 1985 in Switzerland, was the original seed of her fascination. On days off she would make use of the fabulous train system to visit new & exciting areas of Switzerland – any excuse to check out the chocolate shops! Her first round the world trip followed in 1987 which is when she arrived in Australia, fell in love with the continent and never moved back to England.
Her favourite state is Western Australia and she hankers for a chance to spend time exploring the wilds of northwest WA. Jayne completed her Master Cruise Consultant qualification in 2004 and has long since moved on from the impression that cruises cause you to feel cooped up. Like all of the Trendsetter team, she’s a convert!

Alicia Philips
Alicia hails from Cape Town but after 25 years in Australia considers herself very much an Aussie. Such a move was always on the cards because apart from opera and symphony concerts, travel and the possibilities it brings to see new places and indulge in local food and wine is an equal passion.
Alicia has travelled widely and her favourites remain the south of France, Italy, Bavaria, Switzerland and London. Her magic box includes knowledge, through travel, of the USA, Canada, Mauritius, India, South Africa, Morocco, Turkey and Japan but her experience in the travel industry ensures she is adept at putting together any itinerary.
